Senior Account Manager

Jono Steffert is a Senior Account Manager at Propper Daley, where he supports the day-to-day management of Nonprofit and Foundation client accounts to ensure their maximum efficiency, growth, and retention. He actively contributes to the development of strategies that meet their social impact goals, leveraging his expertise to drive meaningful change.

With a background in international relations, Jono’s expertise was honed over more than a decade of service within the New Zealand Government, most recently as New Zealand’s Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Advisor in Washington, DC. In this role, he initiated and led efforts to strengthen New Zealand’s cultural and economic ties, enhance bilateral relations, promote cultural exchanges, and advance the country’s digital and public diplomacy strategies in the United States.

Before his diplomatic service, Jono worked with New Zealand’s national economic development agency, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, supporting New Zealand businesses in their international growth efforts. More recently, he founded his own creative agency, leading business and relationship development strategies that empowered New Zealand brands to expand and access opportunities in North America.

Driven by a passion for fostering international connections and a belief in the power of cultural and economic diplomacy, Jono brings a unique perspective to social impact, shaped through his work supporting New Zealand and its indigenous economy.
